Ofsted - Summer 2019
"The local leader in education has quickly identified what needs to rapidly improve. She has the respect and support of staff."
"The local leader in education (LLE) has made significant improvements to the school since starting to support the school in March 2019. She has rapidly gained the respect and support of the staff. Significant changes have been made during her short tenure, which have quickly improved the safety and well-being of pupils and are beginning to raise standards."
"The focus of the LLE, and the determination of staff, is leading to improvements in pupils’ achievement."
NQT Programme - 18-19 Cohort
"I have found this year incredibly rewarding and it has been fantastic to be supported by my team in both the school and NQT environment."
Maths - No Problem! Conference - January 2019

"More and more information each time I attend a Maths - No Problem! course. Excellent!"
"A fantastic, thought-provoking day - full of information I can actually use."
Phonics Training - Autumn term 2017
"I wanted to thank you for this evenings phonic training session. It was very thorough and reinforced, reminded and introduced especially to our KS2 staff the process of teaching phonics. I know from the TAs point of view it will equip them with a bank of skills and resources.
So a huge thank you."
NQT Programme 16-17 Cohort
At the NQT meetings I’ve been able to talk to other NQTs and the teachers running the training sessions about their experiences and concerns etc. Plus learn about various aspects of teaching. I particularly enjoyed the NQT conference at the Bishop of Winchester School.
Networking and sharing ideas on aspects of the curriculum and how to improve in each teaching standard.
The opportunity to share experiences and challenges with others in similar situations.
Going into other schools on learning trails, specific and non-specific.
Maths No Problem! - Open Morning November 2017
"Thank you so much for a brilliant morning. Please pass on our thanks to St John’s – the whole team were welcoming and so willing to talk to us all. We got a lot from the morning and came away feeling inspired. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to go into each classroom, look at books and talk to children and staff.
What a great school!"
